PDFD103	Elements & Principles of Design	Theory / Practical	To make the students aware of various elements and principles of design, and they make them ready for the designing.
PDFD104	Apparel Construction Techniques	Practical	To make the students aware of various stitching & construction techniques, sewing machine handling, its problems & rectifications.
PDFD105	Basic Drawing & Sketching	Practical	Make them learn basic drawing & sketching skills to design better.

PDFD202	Sewing Technology	Theory	The student shall be able to understand the mechanism and applications involved in apparel production and acquaint the students with the basics and advanced technology of sewing machine.
PDFD203	Pattern Drafting & Layout – I	Theory / Practical	To make the students aware of pattern drafting and drafting terminologies, they will learn how to create patterns on paper by taking the body measurements, and then transfer the measurements on paper for final draft.
PDFD204	Apparel Construction – I	Practical	To make the students aware of construction of various kids and female wears, how they should be cut and sewn to make it a finished garment.
PDFD205	Traditional Embroidery	Theory / Practical	To make the students aware of various traditional embroideries in India, and its importance and equipment’s.
PDFD206	Fashion Model Drawing – I	Practical	To make the students aware of various proportions and poses for creating fashion illustrations & sketches.

PDFD302	Clothing Care & Maintenance	Theory	Identify the importance of clothing care and maintenance, impart the knowledge of laundry process and reagents, and learn the details of machineries involved in clothing care process, provide the knowledge about special laundry, acquaint the importance of care label and stain removing.
PDFD303	Pattern Drafting & Layout – II	Theory / Practical	To make the students aware of pattern drafting and drafting terminologies, they will learn how to create patterns on paper by taking the body measurements, and then transfer the measurements on paper for final draft.
PDFD304	Fashion Model Drawing – II	Practical	To make the students aware of various male body proportions and poses for creating fashion illustrations & sketches. Making them understand the rendering techniques of illustration to depict the flesh & fabrics.
PDFD305	Apparel Construction – II	Practical	To make the students aware of how the various garments of female wear need to be cut, stitch and constructed and finished.
PDFD306	Draping – I	Practical	To make the students aware of handling the dress form and principles of draping along with draping of various designs with the help of muslin cloth.
